LEGO Star Wars Saga App Reviews

My friend had brought this game over a while ago for the wii and I loved it but for some reason I never went out to get it. I saw it in the app store and i had to get it. I wasnt sure how the keyboard controlls would be but it turned out great. Money well spent.

No matter what when ever i play, the character im playing on will just completly freeze up. please fix!

This game is great. I run a Lion 10.7.2 with graphics card and everything default. I am on a college campus and the game downloaded in about 17 minutes on our shared internet so I dont know why people are complaining about long download times. The only problem I have had is some frame rate drops and a little pixelation during the cutscenes. Other than that this game is terrific.

Ive launched this game four times. Two of those times, the sound stopped working during gameplay. The only way to get it back was to close the app and restart it. But, its a fun game, and a great way to pass time.

I played this app on Windows way back and it ran choppy and sluggish. Once I switched over to the Mac I got this App and it is spectacular. The Mac App Store makes it really easy to install new apps and the lego star wars game series makes it really hard to put down the controller. I am very happy with my purchase. By the way, the Mac allows people to use their PS3 controllers with the game for Mac OSX Lion and Snow Leopard. Makes the gameplay very enjoyable.

The high reviews set expectations that didnt come true for me. I found this game slightly cute…but terribly boring. And the controls are awkward on a computer. Maybe kids would enjoy it, but stay away if youre looking for something with any substance. Having a Star Wars theme just isnt enough.

I previously owned and loved Lego Star Wars and Lego Star Wars II for PS2 and on finding both in one in the app store, I was immediately all over it. Great quality and amazingly fun. A fairly in-depth game without being overly involved. Lots of replay value. And definitely one of the cutest and funnest games Ive ever played.

This game worrks perfectly and I would recommend it to every Star Wars & Lego fan! Thie controls adn graphics are awsome, and I just plug in my Xbox controller in to the Mac usb slot to make moving around adn stuff easier. $20.00 is an extraordinary price for such an advanced and exciting game. It brings back memories of the movies. I love this game!

This is absolultely one of my favorite games! I remember going over to my friends hosue when I was 8 years old playing the original star wars game (episode s 1, 2, and 3) on his xbox. The game has the exact same levels as the original games. It runs fantasticly on my Late 2011 Macbook Pro 13.3" 4GB i7. No lag at all. Pros: -Great game, will give you hours of fun gameplay -Combines the 2 original games and you get it for the price of one! -Nothing has been changed or altered (gameplay, level layout, characters) Cons: -Controls are a bit odd, but you can set them to your preferences Note: You cannot use the mouse or trackpad to play the game, but based on reading other reviews, people are saying you can use Playstation controllers and other gamepads to play the game. Overall a great LEGO game and well worth the $20!

lego star wars the complete saga was and is still awesome the only problem is that the keyboard controls are wierd to use because of that i wouldev made this a four but they let you plug in a ps3 or xbox 360 controller and let you use that the only thing i dont like is that you cant play online multiplayer which stinks but the gameplay makes up for that i think its an exellent game for only $19.99

On Episode I Part V there is a slight change from the console versions. In the Mac version, you are required to earn 100,000 coins to acheive true jedi, which is not possible. I believe this is an error and should be changed to 60,000 as in the console versions

When I got this game I didnt know what to expect.But when I was playing it I realized it was a super great game!

I bought a macally controller for my macbook pro and loved reliving the whole star wars saga, episodes 1-6 with this app. I loved that this game is NOT only for diehard expert gamers, but for everyone. You get ENDLESS lives, so even if youre like me, and it takes you an umpteen number of lives to get past a couple of AT-ATs on the ice planet Hoth, or pod racing is not really your thing --- no worries! FUN FUN FUN. Love this app! Well worth the price.

What a joke, i am one player, i have one keyboard, one mouse and one screen and I wanted to play it with one character, it will not let me do this. DO NOT BUY this game its a joke, even atari let you choose one or two player, this is such a basic option that should be included. I HATE IT, I want my money back.

can never get any codes in the cantina to work any one know where to get them

I have beaten this game on my consul a while back and was very exited to be able to purchase it on my Mac. The game is well worth the money and has great resolution. I was thrilled when I discovered that it did not drain my battery (like most of the other games I have). Costing only $19.99 on the App Store, this game is one of the best Ive gotten yet. Thanks!!!!! ~D

This is really a great game. its worth every penny. Does anyone know how to make the action control work with the mouse? If so please let me know, thanks:)
